Woman fights for life after seven injured in crash
Seven people have been injured after a crash in East Dunbartonshire.
A woman is fighting for her life after seven people were injured in a Boxing Day crash in East Dunbartonshire.
The 60-year-old is in a critical condition after suffering a serious head injury.
Three others were seriously injured in the smash on Manse Road, Bearsden on Thursday.
Seven people were take to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after being hit by a car when a grey Land Rover struck a group of pedestrians at around 4.50pm.
Two other women, aged 21 and 65, and a 15-year-old boy are in a serious but stable condition.
Three others suffered minor injuries and the 64-year-old driver of the Land Rover was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary as a precaution.
Police have launched an investigation.
Inspector William Graham, of the Road Policing Unit, said: "We're keen to establish the full circumstances and are looking for people to contact us who have any relevant information about this incident.
"We're appealing for anyone who might have witnessed this incident or saw the grey Land Rover just before the incident happened to contact us."
Police said the Land Rover also hit a parked vehicle during the incident.
