A man has been charged with raping a woman in Glasgow Green more than six years ago.

Scott Thomson, 32, is to stand trial after being accused of sexually assaulting the woman on April 21, 2013.

The alleged attack took place near Templeton Street in Glasgow.

Thomson pleaded not guilty at the High Court in Glasgow on Monday.

A trial of four days was set for May 26 next year by judge Lady Scott.

Thomson, from Gallowgate in Glasgow, was bailed.
