Police Scotland confirmed a 38-year-old man has now been arrested and charged over the death.

He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

David Callaghan, 29, from East Kilbride, was charged with murder when he appeared at the same court in December.

The 29-year-old, from East Kilbride, did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody.

The case was continued for further examination.
