Man arrested after Gary McAllister 'attacked' outside pub
The Rangers assistant manager was allegedly assaulted in Leeds city centre on Sunday.
A man has been arrested over an alleged attack on Rangers assistant manager Gary McAllister that left him requiring stitches.
The former Scotland captain was said to be assaulted outside a pub in Leeds city centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.
McAllister, who played for Leeds United during his playing days, was having a night out in the city after travelling to watch a Liverpool legends game at Anfield.
Yorkshire Police have now arrested a 32-year-old man in connection with the incident.
A spokesman for the force said: "He has been released under investigation and enquiries remain ongoing."
