Two arrested after woman 'attacked' on board train
The British Transport Police arrested the pair at Drumchapel Station on Thursday night.
Two people have been arrested after a woman was allegedly attacked on board a train in Glasgow.
A 39-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment to a facial injury after the incident that took place at Drumchapel Station on Thursday.
British Transport Police were called to the scene at around 6pm after reports of a fight on the train.
A 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault and a 37-year-old man for breach of the peace.
A spokeswoman for the BTP said: "British Transport Police officers were called at 6.05pm on Thursday following reports of anti-social behaviour involving an altercation at Drumchapel railway station.
"A man was arrested on suspicion of breaching the peace and a woman was arrested on suspicion of assault.
"Another woman sustained minor facial injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment."
Police Scotland also attended to assist with the incident.
