A 15-year-old boy has appeared in court after a child was allegedly stabbed multiple times with a knife near a school while on his lunch break.
The 13-year-old boy was said to have been seriously injured after being knifed in the stomach and knee.
Another boy has appeared in court charged with assault to severe injury.
The alleged victim underwent surgery at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on Monday and is still being treated.
A Glasgow City Council spokeswoman added: "We are aware one of our pupils was injured in an incident on Kilmarnock Road during the school lunch break and the school is helping the police with their enquiries."
