Cannabis worth £145,000 seized from property in raid
The drugs were discovered during an intelligence-led operation in Glasgow on Tuesday.
Cannabis worth hundreds of thousands of pounds has been seized from a property in Glasgow.
On Tuesday, police executed a search warrant at an address in Charles Street, Springburn as part of an intelligence-led operation.
During a search of the property, herbal cannabis worth an estimated street value of £145,000 was recovered.
Two men, aged 21 and 46, were arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences.
They are due before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Detective inspector Steven Elliot, from Greater Glasgow Proactive CID, said: "Our specialist officers are committed to tackling drugs crime and work within the communities of Glasgow every day to identify and arrest offenders.
"Drugs and the people who supply them have no place in our society and we will continue to gather intelligence and act of information from members of the public to put a stop to this criminality.
