Rush-hour delays as car flips onto roof in city centre
Busy road through Glasgow closed after crash early on Wednesday morning.
A busy city centre road has been closed after a crash caused a car to flip onto its roof.
Emergency services attended the scene near the Raddison Hotel on Robertson Street in Glasgow at around 7.43am on Wednesday.
No-one is believed to have been injured in the incident, however the crash caused long rush-hour delays.
Robertson Street is closed between Argyle Street and Broomielaw until further notice.
Drivers have been advised to use an alternative route.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue service confirmed they were in attendance and helped stabilise the vehicle.
A spokesman said: "The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 7.43am to reports of a road traffic collision at Robertson Street, Glasgow.
"Operations control immediately mobilised one appliance and firefighters assisted emergency service partners.
"The crew is presently working to make the area safe."
