Man left seriously injured after large-scale brawl
Between eight and 10 people were reported to have been involved in the disturbance in Glasgow.
A man has been seriously injured in a brawl involving up to ten people in the west end of Glasgow.
Police said between eight and ten people were initially reported to have been involved in the disturbance on Wednesday.
Officers were called to Thornwood Place at around 7.20pm and a man was found with serious injuries to his arm.
He was taken to the city's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Detective Sergeant Stephen Palmer said: "Officers are still in the early stages of this enquiry, and are trying to establish exactly what happened during this incident which has resulted in a man being left with serious injuries.
"We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the disturbance taking place, or who may have seen a large group of people in the area last night.
"We urge anyone with any information to come forward and contact us."
