Japanese Akita seized after dogs 'injured in attacks'
The alleged incidents happened in Bonhill, West Dunbartonshire on July 20 and 25.
A Japanese Akita has been seized following reports of two dog attacks in West Dunbartonshire.
The first incident is said to have happened in the Beechwood area of Bonhill on July 20.
The second alleged attack happened in the same area on July 25.
A 51-year-old man has been arrested for alleged offences under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Following our witness appeal, we can confirm we have seized a Japanese Akita dog and arrested a 51-year-old male.
"We would like to thank everyone who provided us with information."
