A cannabis farm is thought to have started a blaze which ripped through a block of flats.

The fire happened at Tollcross Park Gardens in Glasgow's east end.

Part of the roof space, where it's believed the cannabis plants were being kept, was completely destroyed.

Two people were treated for smoke inhalation following the blaze in the four-storey building on Friday shortly after 6.30pm.

Fire crews remained at the scene until Sunday night.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "A full search of the flat has still to be completed and enquiries are continuing."
