A body has been found by a specialist search team looking for a missing man in Stirling.

Police have confirmed that Jack Higham was found in the early hours of Wednesday.

The 85-year-old from Nottinghamshire had been missing from the Nottingham area since Monday.

Specialist search teams discovered Mr Higham's body at Beinn a' Choin, near the Inversnaid area of Stirling.

His family have been informed.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious, and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
