Day of 'family fun' for North Ayrshire Council tenants
There will be a variety of entertainment to keep the children entertained.
A day of "family fun" is being held in North Ayrshire with the return of the Council Tenants' Fun Day.
The sixth annual event will take place on Saturday at St Matthew's Academy from 11am to 3pm.
Council tenants can go along to speak face-to-face with experts and get information and advice from a variety of council services.
This is also a chance to report housing and repair issues and instances of littering, fly-tipping and dog fouling.
To keep children entertained there will be face painting, inflatables, arts and crafts, a bird of prey encounter and demonstrations from emergency services.
There will also be guest appearances from Paw Patrol and Spiderman.
Councillor Jim Montgomerie said: "This event has proven itself to be extremely useful as it allows out tenants to meet council staff in a more informal setting.
"It also gives us an ideal opportunity to discuss issues with one another and build strong working relationships.
"I would encourage all our tenants to come along and join us, on what I am sure will be a great day."
