Police hunt for man after woman attacked on city footpath
The victim was assaulted in the Cowcaddens area of Glasgow at around 9.20pm on Thursday.
Police have issued a description of a man sought over an assault in Glasgow.
It comes after a woman was attacked on a footpath in Cowcaddens at around 9.20pm on Thursday November 30, 2017.
The victim had earlier been with a friend on Renfield Street, police said.
Officers are now trying to trace a man in connection with the incident.
He is described as white and wearing a black North Face jacket, dark trousers and black shoes.
The man reportedly spoke with an Ayrshire or North Lanarkshire accent.
Detective constable Ashleigh Kinghorn said: "Prior to the incident the female had been walking through Glasgow City Centre having earlier been with her friend in Renfield Street.
"I would appeal to anyone who recognises the man in the image to please come forward as it is important that we speak to him as part of our enquiries."
