Animal lovers urged to take part in charity horse show
The event takes place on July 29 and all proceeds will be donated to the Scottish SPCA.
East Ayrshire locals have been invited to take part in a charity horse show.
The event, held at the Morris Equestrian Centre in Fenwick, takes place on July 29 and all proceeds will be donated to the Scottish SPCA.
Charity volunteers promised a range of activities for all animal lovers.
Local animal rescue and rehoming centre superintendent Sharon Comrie said: "We're calling on animal lovers to come along to the show and get involved.
"There are plenty of activities planned throughout the day to keep you busy and it's sure to be a great day out.
"Everyone is very welcome to take part and there are lots of categories to choose from including ridden and in-hand horses and ponies, coloured classes, mountain and moorland, veterans and more.
"We don't receive any government or lottery funding which means we rely entirely on the public to be able to continue our work rescuing and rehoming animals in desperate need of our help.
"We are very grateful for events like these, organised by our dedicated and generous supporter groups, as they make a real difference and help us continue rescuing abused, abandoned and injured animals across Scotland."
