Ayrshire Roads Alliance has planned a series of resurfacing works for the A713.

To improve the condition of the road network, three sections of the A713 carriageway between Dalmellington and Ayr will be resurfaced during July and August.

There will be a series of road closures to allow the works to take place, with the first section being a section between Minnivey to Dalmellington.

Work will start on this section on July 2 and last for two weeks.

The second section at Boreland between Patna and Hollybush will be worked on from July 16 for one week.

Work on the last section between B7034 and B742 Dalrymple junctions will be closed for two weeks starting on July 23.

Motorists are advised to check the advanced signage that will be in place before travelling.
