Campaign to remind adults learning is for everyone
South Ayrshire Council is taking part in the National Adult Learners Week.
South Ayrshire is taking part in a national campaign to remind people that you are never too old to learn.
A week of learning activities to give adults the opportunity to learn new skills is being held for Adult Learners Week.
The events will range from job searches and cookery courses to art classes and English language workshops.
There will also be parenting programmes to encourage parents and children to learn together, and job match groups in Lochside Community Centre.
Councillor William Grant said: "The council wants to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to improve their lives through learning.
"These activities are an opportunity to learn new skills but they can also help with social isolation which can be an issue as we get older.
"I would encourage people to check the website and pick an activity that's right for them; it really could change their lives."
