County residents asked for views on development plan
Locals will be invited to have their say on proposals for investment in North Ayrshire.
Residents are being given the chance to have their say on new plans for investment in North Ayrshire over the next 20 years.
The council is hosting consultations for the next nine weeks about updates to its Local Development Plan.
Communities and individuals are being asked to get involved by giving their opinions on the plans and putting new ideas forward.
Views can be submitted to the council online, over the phone, or at one of 11 events being held in towns across the county between May 15 and June 12.
Councillor Alex Gallagher said: "The Local Development Plan is important to North Ayrshire's future prosperity as it sets out how land will be used and provides a framework to guide development.
"We are keen to hear from as many local residents and businesses as possible. As a council, we remain ambitious for our area, residents and our businesses. We have exciting plans and great partnerships that will help us succeed.
"I would encourage everyone to come along to one of our consultation events and speak to our team about the proposed plans."
