An Irvine gymnast has won a bronze medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games as part of Team Scotland.
David Weir is one of the five-man gymnastics team representing Scotland that took home the bronze on Thursday.
The team is made up of David Weir, who took seven medals at last year's Scottish Championships, world and Olympic medallist Dan Purvis and reigning British floor champion, Frank Baines.
2017 Scottish All-Round champion Kelvin Cham and double British Championship medallist Hamish Carter are also part of Team Scotland.
Chief executive of sportscotland, Stewart Harris, said: "Congratulations to the men's gymnastics team.
"To overcome the setback of a member of the team being injured and to still go on to win a medal is a brilliant achievement and shows the strength of this terrific team."
