Youth dance groups from across the country will perform at a celebration of young dance talent.

The groups will perform in Glasgow alongside the National Youth Dance Company of Scotland at YDance Routes Destinations on Saturday.

The event brings together national youth talent in an evening of diverse performances.

Aged between 12 and 21, the groups come from as far away as Skye, Aberdeen and Inverness.

The National Youth Dance Company of Scotland will also premiere its new piece for 2018, Di-ver-gent.

There will also be a special performance by guests, Dublin Youth Dance Company.

YDance artistic director, Anna Kenrick, said: "The groups performing on the fantastic Tramway stage highlight the enormous wealth of talent we have across the country and how youth dance as a sector is growing each year.

"You really don't want to miss out on this terrific show!"
