Charity shop seeks to reunite people with lost letters
Hundreds of personal items have been found between the pages of donated books.
Charity shop staff are hoping to reunite people with personal items, including old love letters, that have been found inside books.
A 100th birthday telegram from the Queen, candid photographs and love letters are among the hundreds of items that have been used as make-shift bookmarks accidentally given away among donated books.
Staff at the Oxfam book shop on Byres Road, Glasgow, are keen to reunite the mementos with their rightful owners.
They have displayed the items in the store and are encouraging people to collect any items that may have belonged to them or a loved one.
Roisin Murray from Oxfam Books said: "We are really keen to reunite people with their lost treasures.
"We are very happy if they want to come into the shop and let us know if they recognise anything or anyone in the photographs.
"We did have the son of a lady called May who was handing out tea at the Yorkhill docks quiet a while ago and he got to take home a picture of his mum who has now passed and tell us about her."
