Man jailed after drugs worth £400,000 seized in flat raid
The pills were sold as Valium but were found to be a "psychoactive substance".
A man has been jailed after £400,000 of drugs were seized from a flat in Maryhill.
Ryan Bradford was selling the pills as Valium, but they were found to be a "psychoactive substance" called Etizolam.
The High Court in Glasgow heard how police seized the drugs during a large scale probe.
Officers raided the flat Bradford shared with his partner Jodie Gilmour and found a "well kept apartment" with high value items including "various" £500 Canada Goose and Moncler jackets.
Prosecutor Jane Farquharson said: "Police also seized a Watches of Switzerland receipt indicating a £1600 deposit had been paid with £6600 outstanding."
A total of £1775 in cash was found during the raids.
At the High Court in Glasgow Lady Rae said: "This was a significant high value operation selling a psychoactive drug.
"You obviously cheated the customers claiming they were Valium.
"You also have a previous conviction for being concerned in the supply of drugs."
The 33-year-old who had previously been in jail for dealing cocaine was jailed for four and a half years.
