Drivers face three weeks of disruption as road works begin
Diversions are in place for the carriageway resurfacing works on the A714.
Motorists can expect delays as carriageway resurfacing works begins on the A714 Girvan to Barrhill route.
The project will take three weeks to complete and will be carried out on two sections of the road.
The work includes replacing road surfaces, re-setting ironwork and renewing the associated road markings and road studs.
The Ayrshire Roads Alliance say that delays are to be expected.
Diversions will be in place from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm starting on January 15 and finishing on February 2.
