Illuminight: Dean Castle Country Park, Dean Road, Kilmarnock

Set in among the rivers, ponds and trees of the country park and the castle itself, Illuminight will present a magical experience for all the family with stunning visuals, state-of-the-art light installations and audio-visual effects located throughout a one-mile trail, showcasing the newly landscaped parkland with surprises around every corner.

Lachlan Goudie: Shipyard: The Scottish Maritime Museum, 6 Gottries Road, Harbourside, Irvine

An exhibition of paintings and drawings of shipyards of the Clyde and Forth.

Shipyard draws on hundreds of images Goudie created at Scotstoun, Govan and Rosyth over a seven-year study and features oil paintings, pen and ink drawings, sculptures and charcoal portraits.
