Pensioner in careless driving probe after train line crash

A pensioner has been reported for careless driving after a car ploughed through a fence and ended up on a railway line.
Train services were cancelled following the incident near Bowling railway station, West Dunbartonshire.
A 76-year-old woman has now been reported to the procurator fiscal for careless driving following the crash on Thursday, October 28.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "We were called at around 4.30pm to reports that a car had driven on to the railway tracks near Bowling railway station. Fortunately, no one was injured.
"A 76-year-old woman was reported for careless driving."
