Body of missing hospital patient pulled from River Clyde
Tazarvifard Mohammed Ali was reported missing from the city's Parkhead Hospital.
The body of a missing hospital patient has been pulled from the River Clyde in Glasgow.
Tazarvifard Mohammed Ali was reported missing from Parkhead Hospital in the city on Friday.
The 31-year-old, who is Iranian, was discovered in the River Clyde at 11.25am on Sunday following a major search.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "He has now been identified as Tazarvifard Mohammed Ali with officers currently carrying out extensive enquiries to trace any of his relatives.
"A post-mortem will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death, however there would appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
