The husband of a missing woman has urged her to meet him in a London toy shop.

Karen Brown, from Clydebank, was spotted in Hamleys on Regent Street, on Saturday, October 14.

Her husband Jock, 48, has now said he will be there between midday and 1pm this Saturday.

Mrs Brown, 47, has been missing from her home on Kirkwood Avenue for nearly two weeks.

She left home at around 7am on October 14, but failed to turn up to her work.

Mrs Brown was then seen on CCTV footage boarding a Megabus to London at Buchanan Street Bus Station at around 8.20am.

She is described as white, 5ft 6in of medium build with collar length brown hair.

Mrs Brown was wearing a pink fleece top, white trainers and carrying an Asda 'bag for life' when she was last seen.

A woman fitting her description and wearing the same clothing was seen leaving Hamleys store but with an added burgundy jacket.

Mr Brown, who made an emotional plea for information on October 18, said: "We love you and are missing you terribly.

"We just want you to come back home, but if you are not ready to do this, please let police know that you are safe."

Inspector David Quinn, of Clydebank Police Office, said: "Extensive enquiries are continuing to trace Karen, and we are liaising with our colleagues at the Metropolitan Police in London and also with Hampshire Constabulary, as she is known to have links to that area too.

"Anyone with information that will help our enquiry should contact Clydebank Police Station through 101 quoting reference number 3818 of the October 14."
