The death of a man who was found seriously injured in a flat is being treated as suspicious.

Emergency services were called to Liddesdale Square in Milton, Glasgow, at 10.10pm on Monday.

The 41-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers said they are following a number of lines of inquiry.

Detective inspector Alan McAlpine said: "Our enquiries into the circumstances surrounding this man's death are currently under way and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death, however, we are currently treating the death as suspicious."
