Pupils have been evacuated from a school after a gas leak.
The alert was raised at Darvel Primary School and Early Childhood Centre in Darvel, East Ayrshire.
Children have been sent home following the pipe leak outside the school on Friday.
An East Ayrshire council spokesman said: "We have been notified of a suspected gas leak at Darvel Primary School and Early Childhood Centre.
"These establishments have been evacuated and all children were taken to the safety of the sports centre.
"Scottish Gas and fire emergency Services are in attendance."
He added: "At this stage we are unable to determine how long this situation will last but we will provide updates as soon as more information is known.
"All parents have been notified."
