The body of a man has been found outside a block of flats as police carry out searches near bins.

The discovery was made on Halkett Crescent in Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire, at 9.30am on Thursday.

Forensic officers have been called and could be seen searching near bins.

Officers have closed roads while investigations are carried out.

The death is being treated as unexplained.
