Flooded roads cause disruption for drivers in Ayrshire
Officers warning road users to be extra cautious following rainfall last night.
Drivers and commuters in South Ayrshire are being encouraged to take extra care after heavy rainfall.
Roads and streets have been flooded, making them hazardous for drivers and pedestrians.
It is expected the road conditions will cause disruption throughout the area.
The Scottish Met Office have said today will be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain which will mainly affect Ayrshire and Lanarkshire during the morning and will becoming more widespread through the afternoon.
Officers are urging motorists to avoid deep water, keep an eye on their speed and to test their brakes after driving on flooded roads.
