Residents have been left "very distressed" after a break-in at a house in Perth.

A double-glazed door at the rear of the house was smashed in the raid on Linton Terrace Saturday between 7pm and 9.30pm.

This caused considerable disturbance, with various rooms rummaged through.

Officers say it is possible those responsible may have gone through neighbouring gardens to gain access.

No items are thought to have been taken/

They are urging anyone with information that could help the investigation to come forward and call 101 or speak with any police officer.
