Great Scottish Run sees thousands take to Glasgow's streets
Despite the heavy rain, the runners took to the course in good spirits.
Thousands of runners have taken part in the Great Scottish Run through the streets of Glasgow.
Setting off from George square the 10k and half marathon routes took in various parts of the city before crossing the finish line at Glasgow Green.
Three local runners scored medals in the elite races, with Callum Hawkins and Tsegai Tewelde crossing the finish line in joint second place in the men's race, and Fionnuala Ross grabbing bronze in the women's races.
British runner Chris Thompson took the top spot for the men with a run time of 1:02:44.
While Kenyan runner Flomena Cheyech Daniel came in first for the women's in 1:10:17.
