Tenants given chance to discuss major rental changes
A conference will see big changes in East Ayrshire's private rented sector.
Significant changes to the private rented sector will be discussed at a conference in Kilmarnock this weekend.
Tenants will be to talk through issues such as welfare and benefits, tenancy deposits, antisocial behaviour, repair standards, environmental health and garden projects.
Further advice will be offered on fuel poverty and money problems.
Strathclyde Fire and Rescue and Police Scotland will also be on hand to offer advice and guidance on home safety and security.
The free event, which includes lunch, takes place from 9.30am to 2.30pm on Saturday at St Joseph's Academy.
