A82 closed near Loch Lomond after two-vehicle crash
Both directions of the road between Tarbet and Inverbeg are closed for up to an hour.
A crash between two vehicles has led to the closure of the A82 near Loch Lomond.
At 1.45pm, a motorcycle collided with a car.
The female motorcyclist is seriously injured but her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
No one from the car was injured.
Traffic in the area is at a standstill after both sides of the road was closed off to enable emergency services to attend.
Traffic Scotland said the road is expected to remain closed off for more than an hour.
A police spokeswoman said: "At around 1.45pm on Thursday, a motorcycle was involved in a collision with a car.
"The road is closed and will remain so for some time while police carry out investigations."
The Loch Lomond and Trossachs Twitter account posted: "Please be aware that traffic is at a standstill heading north from Tarbet Isle on A82. Police and ambulance are in attendance."
