House targeted in suspected drive-by shooting in Glasgow
Police cordoned off Ladyloan Avenue in Drumchapel, Glasgow, following the incident.
A house has been targeted in a suspected drive-by shooting.
The incident happened on Ladyloan Avenue in Drumchapel, Glasgow.
Police were called after a car crashed near a playpark on the street at 11.45pm on Monday.
The street and park were cordoned off while investigations were carried out.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Just before 11.45pm on Monday, a firearm was discharged at a house on Ladyloan Avenue in Drumchapel.
"No one was injured and one line of inquiry is the occupants of the car were involved. Inquires are ongoing."
Detective inspector Kevin Gilmour said: "At this time, officers are linking both these incidents and thankfully there have been no reports of anyone injured, however an investigation is underway to establish the circumstances and to trace whoever is involved.
"Officers have been carrying out enquiries in the area and are studying CCTV footage to gather more information on this crime.
"I would appeal to anyone who was in the area late on Monday night, who witnessed the shooting take place, or who saw the Volkswagen car to contact Drumchapel Police Office on 101."
