Drivers have been warned to avoid the A85 after a tanker spilled acid across the road.

The incident happened near Halfway Filling Station at Dunbeg at around 9am on Wednesday.

Police and firefighters were called to the scene and the road has been closed north of Oban.

A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to reports of a leak in the vicinity of the Halfway Filling Station."
