Gravity speed racing duo bid to set new world record
The Ayrshire Team Rooket will take part in World Gravity Speed Association Records.
A gravity speed racing team from Ayrshire will travel to Canada in a bid to set a new world record.
Paul Janson and Ian Rooney, known as Team Rooket, will take part in World Gravity Speed Association Records in Quebec this weekend.
The pair will race go-karts with no engines and hope to reach speeds of 90 miles per hour.
Paul said "We are really excited for this competition and have been preparing for a really long time.
"The karts have no engines and are built from scratch.
"We have went as fast at 75 miles per hour before but want to beat that this weekend."
The team are also raising money for children's charity Cash For Kids.
