Troon Library takes a trip down memory lane as it showcases the history of the town's shipyard in a new exhibition.

Ailsa Shipyard and the men who worked there will be celebrated until the end of July.

Old photographs and documents will be among the memorabilia on display.

At its peak, the shipyard employed 350 workers and was spread over 15.5 acres.

A spokesperson for the library said: "We have spent a very long time putting this together and the final result is something we are proud of.

"It really captures the essence of the shipyard and what things were like. Hopefully a lot of people come see it and can enjoy it."
