Kilmarnock have announced the signing of midfielder Dominic Thomas.

The 21-year-old has agreed a three-year deal at Rugby Park after requesting a move from Motherwell.

Like new team-mates Calum Waters and Stephen O'Donnell, he was previously part of Celtic's youth system.

Thomas leaves Motherwell having started four games over the last four years, with 33 appearances from the substitutes' bench.

He was loaned to Queen of the South for the second half of the 2016/17 season, making 17 appearances for the Doonhamers.

Thomas made his Scotland U21 debut in March this year following his good form with the Championship outfit.
