A teenager has been arrested over alleged drugs offences following the death of a 14-year-old girl in Glasgow.

Zoe Bremner, 14, was found dead in a flat in Dundasvale Court in Cowcaddens on Sunday.

Another girl and a boy, both aged 15, were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but were later released.

On Wednesday, police said a 16-year-old boy had been arrested and was detained in police custody in connection with alleged drugs offences.

He is expected to appear in court later on Wednesday.

On Monday, Zoe's head teacher at Knightswood Secondary School paid tribute to her, saying she will be "sorely missed by all the staff and pupils."
