A man has been arrested over a video which reportedly features racist slogans about Celtic player Scott Sinclair.

The 27-year-old allegedly began the offensive outburst in McChuills pub on High Street, Glasgow, at the weekend.

He has been has been arrested over alleged offences under the Communications Act 2003 after the video was posted on social media.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Following a complaint made regarding a social media post, we can confirm that a 27 year-old man has been arrested in connection with alleged offences under the Communications Act 2003."

Celtic secured a clean sweep of trophies and completed an unbeaten domestic season with a win over Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup final at the weekend.
