The incident happened on West Campbell Street at around 8.45am on Tuesday.
Police officers closed the street shortly afterwards and an ambulance was called.
The woman's condition is unknown but she is believed to have been taken to hospital.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "A female pedestrian was hit by a van at 8.45am this morning. An ambulance is in attendance."
