The blaze broke out on the River Clyde near Govan Road in Glasgow, around lunchtime on Thursday.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said one engine with a pump had been sent to the scene.
There were no reports of any injuries or damages to the nearby vessel.
