Frank Quitely in Conversation and Book Signing: Waterstones, 153-157 Sauchiehall Street
Frank Quitely is known for working with DC Comics and his frequent collaborations with Grant Morrison on titles such as New X-Men, We3, All-Star Superman, and Batman and Robin.
He discusses his work and his life with some of the world's most famous comic characters and also signs copies of his new book, The Art of Comics which accompanies the exhibition currently on at Kelvingrove Museum.
Scottish Chamber Orchestra: Beethoven Symphony No 7: City Halls, Candleriggs
Robin Ticciati conducts the Scottish premiere of Widmann's Con Brio (2013 version), which was designed to acknowledge the brilliance of Beethoven's Seventh and Eighth Symphonies.
Also featuring Brahms's Double Concerto, with brother-sister duo Christian Tetzlaff (violin) and Tania Tetzlaff (cello) sharing the limelight; and Beethoven's ever-popular and universally recognised Symphony No 7.
