Glasgow Coffee Festival: The Briggait, 141 Bridgegate

A two-day festival celebrating the mighty coffee bean and showcasing the speciality coffee scene in Scotland. There are roasters, cafes, bars, brews and baristas hosting tastings, presentations, masterclasses, workshops and more, with all proceeds going to Girls Gotta Run. You'll also get the chance to witness the final of the UK Brewers Cup and the UK Barista Championship Scottish Heat.

Bob Dylan & His Band: SEC, Finnieston Quay

Country/folk/rock from the living legend, now in his 70s but still going strong. Dylan released his 37th studio album Fallen Angels last year and also managed to bag the Nobel Prize for Literature just a few months later, becoming the 259th American to have won a Nobel Prize. Dylan and his band return to the UK for a series of shows, stopping off in Glasgow for their only Scottish date.
