Family of Milngavie house fire victim set funeral date
Cameron Logan's brother is charged with his murder and attempted murder of girlfriend and parents.
A date has been set for the funeral of a young man who died in a fire at his parents' home on New Year's Day.
Cameron Logan, 23, died in the blaze at the house in Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire, in the early hours of January 1 after returning from a Hogmanay party.
His girlfriend, 24-year-old Rebecca Williams, known as Bex, was left in a critical condition after the fire but has now been released from hospital. Mr Logan's parents were also taken to hospital.
Mr Logan's funeral will be held at Clydebank Crematorium on February 17 after his body was released back to his family.
Blair Logan has appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court charged with murdering his brother at their parents' house on Achray Place.
He is also accused of the attempted murder of Ms Williams and assaulting her to her severe injury and danger of life.
Ms William, a journalist at Global Radio, was rescued from the fire by Mr Logan's father and neighbours.
Blair Logan is further accused of the attempted murder of his parents, both aged 54, who were treated for smoke inhalation.
The family's dog also died in the fire.
The 26-year-old, who appeared in private, made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
