A body found on the shoreline in Argyll has been identified as a missing mother.
Crystalla Dean had last been seen in the Oban area on Thursday December 15 last year.
Her body was found at Ardmucknish Bay near Benderloch at around 12.20pm on Thursday, January 5.
A large scale search was launched for the 52-year-old after she was reported missing.
On Thursday, police confirmed the body has been formally identified as Ms Dean and her relatives have been informed.
A force spokeswoman added: "A post-mortem examination has been carried out and the death is not being treated as suspicious. A full report has been sent to the procurator fiscal."
