Cineword closes to customers in Glasgow after power cut
The cinema on Renfield Street was shut on Thursday afternoon as engineers fixed the problem.
One of Glasgow busiest cinemas has been forced to close to customers due to a power cut.
Cineworld on Renfield Street in the city centre closed on Thursday afternoon while engineers came in to fix the problem.
Bosses apologised to film fans and said anyone with tickets would get a refund.
A notice on the door of the building states: "We are currently closed while we resolve an issue with our power.
"We're sorry for any inconvenience and would like to thank out customers for their understanding.
"We hope to reopen the cinema as soon as possible. Watch this space for updates. Any customers who have already purchased tickets can claim a refund."
It comes after the 18-screen cinema had to be evacuated last summer because of a similar power outage.
