Teenager seriously injured in 'attack' near Glasgow Central
Police were called to Gordon Street in the city centre shortly before 4am on Friday.
A teenage boy was taken to hospital after an alleged serious assault near Glasgow Central Station.
Police were called to Gordon Street shortly before 4am on Friday after reports of a disturbance.
A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital after the incident.
A police spokesman said: "At around 3.45am this morning, a 17-year-old boy was allegedly seriously assaulted following a disturbance on Gordon Street, Glasgow.
"He was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he was released following treatment.
"A 32-year-old man is the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal."
Gordon Street has been closed between Hope Street and Renfield Street while police inquiries are ongoing.
